Link Transit Service Changes Effective Monday, October 20, 2025

•All routes will be rescheduled to improve on-time performance.

•Orange Route 2 trips will become Purple Route 5 trips.

•Blue Route 3 trips will become Green Route 4 trips.

Orange Route 2 will no longer serve Salvation Army. Board buses on Maple Avenue @ S. Flanner Street.  All service to Hanford Road will be on request.  Ask the bus operator to be let off at this location or call Link Transit when the bus leaves ACC in either direction.

Blue Route 3 will no longer serve Aldi parking lot.  Board buses on Church Street.  The route will be extended to serve Ball Park Drive in Elon, and will not serve Cook Road, Westbrook Avenue or Huffine Street outbound. Trips to Beth Schmidt Park outbound will be on request only.

Purple Route 5 will be extended to Haw River and Green Level.  There will no longer be service on Mebane Street, between Ireland Street and N. Graham Hopedale Road or service on Ross Street, Chandler Avenue or Richmond Avenue. Walk to Apple St.

Link Paratransit will allow same day reservations on a space available basis and has been expanded to serve the entire city limits of Burlington and is available to seniors (60 years old and older) and Medicare card holders on a space available basis.
